Local Artists

The Espanola Valley is a cultural center for numerous art forms and craft traditions including Native pottery, painting, weaving, Spanish colonial arts, silversmithing and jewelry making. Generations of talented artists have dedicated themselves to preserving traditional ways of making art while simultaneously expressing their own individual creativity. Many local artists and studios pass on their artistic and crafting traditions through classes, workshops and regular studio tours.
