About the GEVCDC
The Greater Espanola Valley Community Development Corporation (GEVCDC)
was founded in 2000 by a group of individuals representing private
businesses, public governmental and other community organizations for the
purpose of furthering the quality of life in Rio Arriba County and the
Espanola Valley. The GEVCDC is a non-profit corporation and lead economic
development organization in the region. Its mission is to promote a high
quality of life for all community members; a sustainable and diversified
economy; a quality educational system with a broad range of training
opportunities; strong family units and family values; and a respect for the
diverse cultures of the region.
